Start living with purpose
A Sociologist and Social Psychologist at heart, I have fervently pored over the Personal Development literature over the years; Rhonda Byrne, Stephen Covey, M Scott Peck and Daniel Goleman are just some of the authors appearing on my book shelf. A love for books I got from my mother and survival capabilities and resilience from my father certainly made for fertile ground.
While I started my life journey in London, my footprint’s been global. I have lived within, and learned from, a variety of cultures. I spent my childhood and adolescence mostly on the beautiful island of Mauritius, making frequent visits to gorgeous Malaysia. My first university experience was in Brunei (the abode of peace as it’s known to those familiar with the country), where I studied Economics and Sociology. Returning to London as a young adult, I took up studies in Law and currently work for a public body responsible for Financial Wellbeing in the UK.
Over the last 5 years, through my work in the area of debt advice specifically as well as coaching pro bono for a leading Employment Charity, I have deepened my understanding of the multitude of problems people seek guidance and advice for. Life events and challenges often lead to people feeling stuck, having nowhere to go and giving up on dreams and aspirations…
Life does not have to be that way.
